On the morning of Monday, August 21, we emailed all members of the Rhode Island Senate to get their positions on the upcoming PawSox legislation. Specifically, we asked the following:
“When brought to the floor for a vote, how will you vote for S 0989 (http://webserver.rilin.state.ri.us/BillText/BillText17/SenateText17/S0989.pdf)? Please respond with: yes, no, undecided, or refuse to answer.
When brought to the floor for a vote, how will you vote for S 0990 (http://webserver.rilin.state.ri.us/BillText/BillText17/SenateText17/S0990.pdf)? Please respond with: yes, no, undecided, or refuse to answer.”
As of this time, only four of the 38 senators have responded, each with a different reply. To see who responded and how, check out the Issues page. We will be contacting the senators every Monday and updating the results every Thursday until it no longer becomes necessary to do so.
